HCEC offers electric and internet service.  For information about WildBlue satellite internet service and availability, please call the office at 800-657-2445 and ask for a WildBlue representative.

If you would like to speak with a representative in our new connects department, please call the office at 800-657-2445 and select option 5 from the automated menu.  A representative in this department can assist you with new connects, disconnects, and transfers of service.

To receive electric service from Houston County Electric Cooperative, an individual must:

• Download, complete, and submit an application for service;
• Agree to all terms set forth by the cooperative’s bylaws;
• Pay a $30 connect fee with his/her completed application;
• Provide the cooperative with a deposit that will be based on the results of the applicant's credit.
• Furnish an official form of identification (i.e., valid driver’s license, military ID, etc.); and
• Provide a notarized right-of-way easement for his/her property.

To disconnect or transfer service, you should speak with a member services representative in our new connects department.  Be prepared to provide adequate identification to disconnect or transfer service.
